Most dental referral platforms work the same way: a clinic pays to be listed, gets a profile, and patients browse through options. The more clinics, the better the business model.
We do the opposite.
Clinics don’t apply to be part of Grinbliss. We research them. We look for clinics that are already serving international patients. Then, if they meet our standards, we reach out to them. Not the other way around.
This matters because it changes the incentive structure entirely. A clinic that paid to appear in a directory has a financial reason to be there. A clinic we selected after weeks of research is there because we genuinely believe they’re among the best in their city.
Our evaluation isn’t a checklist you can fake. We look at a combination of signals over time, not a single form filled out on a Tuesday afternoon.
Patient outcomes and documentation. We look at real case documentation, before and after records, treatment plans, follow-up notes. Not the cherry-picked photos on Instagram. The full picture.
International patient experience. Treating a local patient and treating someone who flew in from another country are very different challenges. We look for clinics that already understand logistics, communication in English, and what a patient needs when they’re far from home.
Response quality and honesty. How a clinic answers questions tells us a lot. Do they explain procedures clearly? Do they acknowledge limitations? Or do they promise everything to everyone? We pay attention to how they communicate, not just what they say.
Reputation over time. Reviews matter, but patterns matter more. We look at how a clinic handles difficult cases, complaints, and complications not just the easy wins.
Team stability. High staff turnover in a dental clinic is a red flag. Consistent teams build consistent quality. We look for clinics where the same doctors have been doing this work for years.
This is probably the most unusual thing about how we operate, so it’s worth explaining directly.
We cap our network at 5 clinics per city. Not 50. Not 20. Five.
Why? Because at that scale, we can actually know each clinic. We can understand what they’re best at, where their limits are, and which patients are the right fit for them. That knowledge is what makes our matching useful, not just a random referral, but a considered recommendation.
It also means that if your city has a Grinbliss-verified clinic, that clinic has passed a real evaluation. Scarcity here isn’t a marketing trick. It’s a quality guarantee.
Being in our network isn’t a permanent badge. It’s an ongoing relationship.
We stay in contact with our clinic partners throughout the process, before a patient arrives, during their treatment, and after they return home. If something changes (new ownership, staff turnover, a pattern of patient complaints), we take it seriously.
We also share structured feedback with our clinics after each case. Not to grade them, but because the best clinics want to know how their patients experienced the whole journey not just the dental work.
Transparency isn’t a strategy for us. It’s the only way this works.
You’re trusting us to point you toward a clinic where you’ll spend real money and put your health in someone’s hands. That trust has to be earned. We think the best way to earn it is to show you exactly how we make decisions, so you can evaluate our reasoning, not just our conclusions.
We’re building this network carefully, city by city. We’re deliberate about which cities we cover and which clinics we invite. We’d rather do this slowly and get it right than scale quickly and compromise the standard.
